About Cleaning Neways: Trusted Cleaning Professionals in the Northern Rivers

We are a second-generation, family-owned business deeply woven into the fabric of Casino and the wider Northern Rivers community. For over two decades, we’ve built a reputation for professionalism, reliability and genuine care, values that are reflected in both our work and the relationships we’ve formed along the way.

More Than Just Cleaning

Investing in the People & Places That Make us Strong

Being local is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to the Northern Rivers isn’t just about business; it’s about building a stronger community. You’ll find us on the sidelines cheering on the Casino Cobras FC as proud platinum sponsors or donating to local school events and artists.

When our community faces hardship, like storms or floods, we’re there. We roll up our sleeves, donating our time and supplies to help clean up the mess. Our ‘local first’ ethos extends to our partnerships, as we choose local suppliers like Mountain Cleaning Products whenever possible.

Founders and Owners

Dieter and Karen

Dieter and Karen started the business with just a small team, including their sons, who joined them in the business once they reached working age. Through their example, they instilled in their children the values of hard work and resilience, principles that continue to shape the business today. Their eldest son Zach, now proudly operates the business on their behalf, a testament to their dedication and guidance.

Dieter is passionate about people, farming, and is a proud supporter of the St George Dragons.

While Karen brings her creative flair to Wild Petals Market, a charming gift store in Casino that she runs with their daughter Madeline. She finds joy in time spent in the garden and loves crafting unique handmade creations.

Together, Dieter and Karen are a down-to-earth couple always willing to share a cuppa and a chat, embodying the heart and soul of the business they built.

Our Northern Rivers Story

How One Sawmill Shed Launched The Cleaning Neways Legacy

Our story began in 1998 with our founders, Dieter and Karen. Their first job was cleaning a single sawmill shed in Casino, one of five jobs Dieter had lined up. From that humble beginning, the business quickly grew. Casino remains our home, and community is still at the heart of what we do. As Dieter and Karen stepped back, their son Zach and his wife Amy took the reins, continuing the legacy with the same strong values.
